And rain did not amuse me...

I played basketball this evening today…there was no electricity and we could not play badminton in the indoor court (indulgence in days of unemployment). We stepped outside and I was getting restless to join a few people who were playing basketball in the court outside…then storm and rain…now I took the basketball jumped over the wall (it was required to reach the court) and there I was… playing basketball in rain. Felt good. Shot after shot…could convert some o ‘em. Eucalyptus trees waved at me in full sway

…sometimes… just sometimes I want accuracy at any cost(though it is always illusive...dmn).

Sorry dear (Shikha) this was all I could write. Normally the rain would 've inspired me to burst in to poetry. This time I experienced quite a few showers without getting soaked even though me stood in midst of the rain and storm…this post is cryptic but I never felt more in rhythm :))

Change I have become
I shall never be the same
And I dig lies
In truth’s name
**

All I say... is said in vain
Like those drops of rain
Which drenched my hair
And then trickled down in vain

Today I held the day delicately
And it melted…ah it melted beautifully

Moments emerged from some rhyme
I did not stop in those moments in time
...they carried intoxication of wine!

Further further was my dare
Equilibrium was my fare
And sunshine kissed my every pore
But there is a view…from other side of the shore

It took enormous will
To keep my mind still

Curves were sharp
I carved them further

And now nothing I shall claim in words or deed
…I stop here before I proceed

**words added later for a dear friend

Munan

Today I recall an ancient tale about Munan “the man who never turned back”

Gudo was the emperor’s teacher. He used to go for strolls. During one of his long walks Gudo pssed by a village. It was raining and his straw sandals were in pieces. Gudo saw three pairs of sandals offered for sale in a househlder’s window. The lady selling the sandals invited him to stay for the night considering the stormy weather outside (it was stormy last night in Delhi... and there was no current!) The lady told him that her husband drinks and overdoes it. Late night hubby came-Drunk. Gudo offered him wine and fish, which he accepted gladly. Next morn when he came back to his senses he recognized the teacher of the king and was embarrassed. Gudo said that if he drinks and wastes himself away he will not be able to even frame an aim for his life leave alone achieve something meaningful. The man listened and then offered to carry Gudo’s bag for some distance. Gudo assented. After a few miles Gudo asked him to go back. Munan asked for a few more steps with him…Munan never returned and later inherited Gudo –spreading wisdom and compassion.

Auto-Pilot

How normal is an atom?

Over the counter I handed over the exact change, asked for a ticket for Delhi University…I was standing at the University Metro station! Now, obviously I was doing things on my auto-pilot and therefore the blunder happened. The same mistake happened thrice this week. That is what happens with previously fed notions…they do not work at the other end of the destination, or in other words situations change and the same answers do not work though apparently the window everywhere appears to be the same. The answer is either to update the ‘fed notions’ which needs a conscious reprogramming, or man-handle the thing instead of the auto-pilot. Now, auto pilot works when there is repetition in process-predictability cuz true.

To man handle the thing one needs to be in touch with the various factors which previously were automatically taken care of i.e. instead of performing a partial function of just pressing the button you ‘go through’ the whole process which is a play of multiple mechanisms. There are certain truths of every situation, we call it a Law in science. A law in ref. to legislature is most definitely an imposed truth which could as well be a lie. However, our dear ol scientific law is not a factor dependent on a council of judges or judgement….rather, it is a dis- cover ‘d truth. That is why we do not even need policemen to impose the scientific laws unlike the social Laws which are imposed by the army, police and the politician with the businessman fuelling them. Coming back from the deviation we can say truth or scientific law is imposed automatically so you need not follow but ‘understand’ the mechanism to be in control. The fascinating part is that you do not even need to ‘impose’ a truth. If it is truth it is-It is!

So I am just trying to understand the auto-pilot these days. A few more blunders to set right;)

so...

I will write somehing soon...it wasn't a writer's block. and I hate to say nay when in my quarters something lies in profusion...will write somethin soon
