Best Breakfast Ever!

Morning I got up late … thinking makes you stay in bed longer, and usually u get up confused. I found thinking sessions sitting by the hilltop looking at the valley more productive than the ones in bed. as I got up and saw the valley from the room’s window a brilliant idea struck me.
Excited I knocked at the neighbor’s door “Have u had breakfast? Would u like to have fresh bread with pahari tomatoes and loads of cheese?”
“Wow yes” the Canadian girl said. Voila I got someone to share the breakfast and the expense with me ))

We went to a roadside tea stall with our shopping of whole wheat bread with sesame seeds, fresh red tomatoes and cheese. I sliced the tomatoes asked the tea stall guy to make tea and do the bread for us. A biker from Spiti joined us and four people had a nice breakfast on a hilltop tea stall. The season for visiting Spiti is just starting and they are still clearing blocked roads …the biker proudly informed “your first man there…locals helped me push the biked through debris…”

My Canadian friend was surprised on several occasions, when I got up n stood with the tea stall guy and assisted making the breakfast, when handed an equal share of our cheese tomato sandwich to the biker and the stall guy without asking, at the ease with which people from different continents talked, and the generous tip we left behind…and to my surprise, as we walked out of the stall in the sun talking about the weather she said “best breakfast ever”!

Hi,
Met Dalai Lama at the Potala palace, yeah he is in Mc Leodganj these days...sounds like I am boasting eh...actually I am J , I just saw him pass by and I didnt bother to go meet him...too crowded:D
Was with this girl from Canada and my roomie in the hotel these days, we are sharing the expense of the room but she cant tolerate me anymore so I guess I will have to move out today. When leaving for the lamas palace early morning I left my cell at the reception, (they frisk u there and cells, camera blah is not allowed) now am back and there are messages but amazing contentment, am not reading those
Coming back from the palace I took these girls for a walk, along the walls of the palace there is a narrow path with a very nice view of the valley, they have placed a bench at the ebd of the path with a view of the whoooole valley spread like butter on bread, yeah came back to have breakfast
On our way to the famous Italian restaurant I bought freshly baked bread they sell on the streets every morning. Reached the restaurant, liked the view of the snow clad mouintains (it snowed heavily up there, here it rained and lightning flashed like mad over the valley down there) but didnt like the menu. To the surprise of my friends I walked out of the fancy place with the bread in my hand. Walked in to the pahari chai dhaba with a veery hansome guy selling tea. As I sat genuinely flirting people kept dropping in ...men and women what a fight to get some attention from the guy. The ultimate thing was an offer for free tea...I have already had two with my local bread I bought from the street (they call it French bread) so I just sat there chatting. He showed me snaps on the walls of the stall naked men with tatttos all over the body holding their thing in their hands grinning. A snap with his brother, customers...one with sonu nigam. There were interesting scrap books kept on the table, people from all over the world had left their scraps in the notebook. Very interesting...scraps were in different languages someone had drawn an erect penis with elaborate description and a comment "ï need a womans helping now" ;
There were poems, comments experiences strewn in the notebooks, someone had written about the cramps, the thorn, the broken shoe and the muscle pull which happened to his wife on the 2 km trek to a lake J )))) This guy had actually sold one of these notebooks to an Israeli guy for 20k...it was worth it man, by Joe
As the dhaba guy talked about how drunk and how high people are (on drugs, injectibles) I walked out...walk ...run baby run, breathe love ... stretch

Say

I want to say a lot of things

I spent last two days…yeah I ‘spent’ Wednesday and Thursday …

Well, got four days to edit a book…should have spent all four editing because it ain’t much time to edit 400+ pages. Two days are gone in shopping (don really like shopping, but sometimes turns out to b interesting)

Day 1…got up dragged through the day thinking I need to do these endless number of things…now now … all I could do was eat n sleep, my senior(Eena) dropped in my room, got me out of bed … asked if I wanted to go out, her exams were over a day before and she was dying to go out, her boyfriend is not in town and she is missing him badly n needed to go out n shop

I wanted to stay back in my room to remove my stack of books lying over n under the bed n everywhere else (post exam cleanin spree) and to make a list of things I need before I go shopping, so that I don’t get stuff I fancy before spending on stuff I need;…ah no procrastinating, went with her after she dressed up like a woman should))

We walked and walked down the familiar streets, shops, faces we saw everyday in hostel, college …

There was this guy who walked in as we were buying lingerie, the saleswoman almost chided him … poor guy seemed very nervous and kept asking on phone what she wanted … cute chap

We bought our everyday things, imligoli, Jamun, clothes…

Time flied, walking back we realized we were runninglate for dinner, my senior asked me to run to the hostel and keep food for both of us. I did that.

Day 2 i.e. I was with *S, she is a kid and a woman rolled in to one ))
it was scorching hot when we went out to get food n mineral water for ourselves, eve we went to Latpat nagar, thunder n rain …bought a cool shirt n came back pretty late…missed proper hostel, there is elaborate breakfast lunch n dinner…unlimited supply of goooooood fooooood

#will need to finish the book in a day n half and then will be leaving for Himachal with friends, might get to visit Spiti

At office

At office today

the company is growing

they asked me to build a process...and then see people follow the guidelines I frame

i will ask the team to write about their work and to share it with each other, I will sit and crack jokes while they do it

i don't need to work and make guidelines and they aren't kids who need to told what to how to, they will of course know the best about their work, I will just make them say it, define what is the best way to do what they are doing and share it with others in the team...after they are through with defining their part of the process, me will collate what they said and the functionality/process will be ready, will just see there are common terms (level 1, level 2, level 3) commonly understood and that nobody gets enough authority to bug others...let 'em own their work ...umm they already do that I guess

#will throw in some facts with the jokes
